• Agatha Nominee for Best First Novel:  DAUGHTERS OF BAD MEN has been named an Agatha Award Nominee for Best First Novel.
• Silver Falchion Winner: Murder on Wheels, Austin Mystery Writers crime fiction anthology, was awarded the Silver Falchion Award for Best Fiction Short Story Anthology. Member Laura Oles accepted the award from author Anne Perry Saturday night at the Killer Nashville International Writers’ Conference 2016.
• 2015 Writer’s League of Texas Manuscript Award Finalist: Laura Oles was declared a finalist in the 2015 Manuscript Contest for Point and Shoot.
